An oil refinery is an industrial process plant where crude oil is refined into products widely used in the chemical industry such as gasoline, diesel, kerosene, jet fuel, petroleum naphtha, liquefied petroleum gas, fuel oils and asphalt base. These refineries are large industrial complexes with extensive piping and large chemical processing units.
